This is the original trio of feet painting that launched the series. A poet in North Carolina contacted me and asked if I would make a painting inspired by one of her poems. The poem contained a line about feet falling around the speaker's head like leaves. After coming up with the image and composition for the painting, the poem was inscribed around the image from top to bottom.
